Song Yue has extensive experience in investment grade and high yield bond issuance and debt management, debt management and debt restructuring, and is an expert in advising issuers and underwriters on international debt capital markets transactions. Many transactions led by Song have been shortlisted for "Deal of the Year" awards for debt and equity-linked or high yield bonds. Song Yue was named a "Rising Star Partner" in the Debt Capital Markets field by Legal 500 Asia Pacific. Song Yue co-authored the Thomson Reuters Practical Law Guide to Hong Kong Debt Capital Markets.

Song Yue holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons, Song worked in the Hong Kong office of a leading international law firm.

Advising China CITIC Bank International Limited on its issuance of subordinated notes, which constitute Tier 2 capital under the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s Banking (Capital) Rules;
Representing Huatai Securities Co., Ltd. in establishing a medium-term note program and issuing bonds;
Representing the joint lead managers in assisting Ping An International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. in issuing Shanghai Free Trade Zone bonds (Pearl bonds);
Representing the trading houses in assisting China Merchants International Financial Co., Ltd. in establishing a medium-term note program and issuing bonds;
Representing the joint lead managers in assisting SF Holding Co., Ltd. in issuing bonds;
Representing AAC Technologies Holdings Limited in its invitation to repurchase outstanding bonds (including bonds held by US investors);
Representing the joint lead managers in assisting Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd. in issuing bonds;
